Concierge Care FAQs

What is Concierge Care?

Our philosophy is that when it comes to issues with your spine, you deserve to be involved in the discussion. We provide ease of access to our team, help with gathering your medical history and pertinent information from your primary doctor to decrease the time you spend filling out forms, assist with scheduling a convenient appointment with adequate time to review all of your information and imaging, and put together a personalized care plan. Our surgical patients have a 24 hour urgent line access to our team and will never feel like they are alone throughout the process. You will not be disappointed with the attention you receive.

How can The Orchard Clinic ensure same or next-day appointments?

Before founding The Orchard Clinic, our team was routinely seeing 40 spine patients each day in our extremely busy clinic. We were expected to get to know our patients, do a thorough physical exam, review all imaging, and put together a surgical plan in 10 minutes. Our practice now puts a limit on the number of patients we see in order to ensure that we can provide the highest level of support for those in our care.

Both physicians and patients are reassured to know that they’ll have time to build strong relationships and you'll never have to wait to see your treatment team if there is any concern.

How much does it cost?

Costs vary by the type of visit, but in general a 45 minute, new patient consultation with Dr. York is $300 and a 30 minute consultation with one of our PAs (Emily or Jessie) is $200. In general, if you are ready for a surgical discussion, Dr. York will be ready to review all of your information and imaging with you. If you have a new, urgent problem with your back or neck our PAs are skilled in evaluating and working it up and can be considered the first line in treatment.

In today’s medical climate, this fee is what allows us to operate with this patient-first model. Costs for injections or surgeries will be transparent and discussed in detail.

Do you accept insurance?

We make every effort to work with your insurance to help you minimize your out of pocket costs. Our model affords us the ability to see all patients regardless of insurance carrier or self-pay status. For surgical procedures we will authorize the surgery with your insurance to cover hospital fees, anesthesia, and other required services. However, we do not accept insurance for consultations or in-office procedures although these can sometimes be submitted to count towards your out of network deductible.
